DIY: Rosewater Soothing Face Mist.

Rosewater has astringent properties and works well as a facial toner. But that’s not all, when it’s combined with witch hazel, rosewater acts as a great cleanser, removing oil and dirt accumulated in clogged pores and thus creating clear skin. If you want to kick it up a notch you can add in Aloe Vera which moisturizes, treats acne, and also evens out your skin tone.

What you need:

  • A dozen freshly picked organic rose petals
  • A measuring cup/small funnel
  • A small pot with glass lid
  • A small glass bowl
  • Distilled water
  • A spray bottle
  • (optional) Organic Aloe Vera or its juice
  • (optional) Witch hazel

Foods that boost your immune system

Our immune system is the body’s defense against infections and diseases, if we want to stay healthy, we need to have a good immune system and we can do so by filling our body with nutrients, vitamins etc. Some people naturally have better immunity than others due to where they live, genetics, how they grew up etc but a better immunity is attainable. Acquired immunity helps your immune system get stronger and the stronger your immune system is, the less likely you are to get sick.

With COVID still going around and a lot of schools or opening up and prevention is the best cure so I’ve compiled a list of things you can start incorporating into your diet today to help boost your immunity so that your body can protect itself from harmful germs that can cause illnesses. Dealing with acne and breaking out.

As someone who still struggles with breaking out, I know what it’s like wanting to pick at them, and just being irritated and wishing you could rip your skin off and starting fresh. Some things can be out of your control but here’s what YOU can do to really help your body be it pimples on your face, body from your arms, back, butt, etc, whatever and wherever it may be:

  1. You are what you eat.
    • I know people say this a lot but diet really plays a big role in your wellbeing. You might eat whatever you want and if you’re blessed with good metabolism, not have anything stick to you BUT just because you don’t gain weight doesn’t mean you should keep eating junk all the time.
    • Fill your body with things high in nutrients and vitamins so lots of fruits and veggies but as well as just a balanced diet in general.

How to reduce the appearance of under eye bags.

The area around your eyes is the thinnest and most delicate skin of your face. That area, in particular, is filled with small blood vessels and due to many things like allergies, dehydration (which can also be caused by eating foods with a lot of salt which causes fluid retention), lack of sleep, smoking etc that can cause these vessels to burst which causes a dark shadow, a lowkey bruise-like kind of look. They’re totally harmless and not that hard to take care of.
